Weapon mod question
Kinda new to modifying weapons, so I appreciate the input. When modifying a bow, how do the mods work?
For example, I have a Fiery Bow of Fortitude, with fire damage 15-28, and health +30. Is there any modification I can put on this bow to retain the health +30, while adding something more to it? What will that modification alter? Thanks. |

The 2 types of Bow mods are Strings (prefix) and Grips (suffix). If you want to keep the Fortitude mod, you can add a string. But, a string will remove the Fire mod.

Yes, you can alter the bow string to something else and keep the +30. It works like this in the title of your weapon: *String mod* - Bow type - *grip mod* so in your case its Firey (bow string) - bow - of fortitude (bow grip)
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=44867 That thread shows u prices of both strings and grips roughly, though it is kind of old and there are a few updates done to them but it should show you whats available for your bow. Edit: VGJustice beat me to it |

to make it easier for you:
strigs determine the kind of damage (vampirik, fire etc) are always the top mode. the grips are +armor or +hp, always the "bottom mode" |
